Today, the number of objects of archeology of the Aktobe region, recorded by researchers, is estimated at several thousand monuments. These include ancient settlements and sites, burial grounds and mounds, petroglyphs, ancient mines, and other types of monuments Dating from various historical periods, from the early Paleolithic to the middle ages.
In the hall of archeology, guests of our Museum can get acquainted with the history of the study, researchers who have made a huge contribution to the study of the archeology of the region, as well as priceless archaeological artifacts obtained as a result of painstaking research on the territory of our region and representing the creation of masters of antiquity and the middle ages.
The hall of archeology consists of ten expositions that most vividly illuminate and acquaint visitors with the history and culture of ancient societies that left various original archaeological cultures, ranging from the stone age to modern times.
