The theme of the hall "the path of independence" is dedicated to the history of development of sovereign Kazakhstan in General and the Aktobe region in particular. The exhibition describes the adoption of the basic law and state symbols of Kazakhstan, the introduction of the national currency – the tenge, the establishment of international external relations, the region's achievements in the field of economy, education, culture and sports.
About 90 representatives of other nationalities live throughout the region. The exhibition "Friendship-for always" presents national costumes and household items of other peoples.
