In 1975, the club"Young archaeologists" started its activity in the Aktobe Regional Museum of Local History. The club was led by Viktor Rodionov, a member of the museum's scientific council, and Irina Stepnova, a senior researcher.

Today, the club "young archaeologists" continues its work with the participation of students of the Historical Faculty of Aktobe State Regional University. Future historians take an active part in archaeological excavations, in the second half of the work they are engaged in the restoration and processing of archaeological finds, participate in research work on burial mounds and necropolises.
